Purchasing vacant properties that are in need of repair. GAHC then renovates the properties and sells them to first-time home buyers for less than $160k to meet most counties' definition of affordable housing in South Carolina.

GAHC's renovated properties are also available as rentals. Giving priority to veterans, adults with disabilities, and single mothers escaping abusive relationships.     

GAHC properties are available for rent up to 24 months while clients are committed to a homeownership program. The renter would strengthen their credit profile, build their work history, and gain financial literacy to ultimately purchase the home.
